Norma’s Burritos and More is a hidden gem tucked away in Alvarado, TX. It is a small place that appears to be take-out only. The burritos are HUGE, bigger than a face and easily over two pounds, making them a very large and decent size. They are made fresh to order. The food tastes like it’s from grandma’s kitchen, with homemade-tasting tortillas and well-seasoned meat. The beans and rice are tasty. The breakfast burritos are absolutely delicious and amazing. The green sauce is bomb and on point, while the salsa is not too hot. Chicken quesadillas are also really liked, loaded with cheese and chicken. The quality is the real deal, like Real Mexican food. A common downside is that they only take cash. There have also been instances of being closed when Google says they are open. The value is great, with a very low cost for a meal. Many customers are happy to have found their morning or breakfast burrito spot and plan to return as long as it's open.
