This place is good! Their breakfast food is better than anything else, but hidden gems on the menu include the following:1. Grilled cheese2. Chicken and Dumplings3. Pot roast4. Pies and desserts!Best customer service in Alvarado! They genuinely care, are attentive, and will become your best friends faster than you can say "food." ?Affordable too! Super affordable!
We happened upon this place by accident during a trip north. We had chicken fried steak, liver and onions, pot roast and hamburger steak. All were cooked to perfection and any special requests we had were not a problem. All were excellent! The sides were wonderful also. This will be a place we return to on more of our trips back and forth now! Definitely recommend this diner!
