I came through the drive thru about 9:30 and the lady at the window who took my order was so kind and didnt seem bothered at all that it was almost closing time. Every time I've come to Alvarado Chicken Express they go above and beyond to ensure great quality customer service, if you havent tried this location I encourage you to stop by!
Love me some Chicken Express! 😂🐔 The food is always good, hot, and comes out QUICK—which is exactly what I want when I’ve already decided I’m too hungry to be patient. 🤣
The staff is always super nice and friendly, too, which makes such a difference. Great service, good food, and they get you in and out without making you wonder if they had to go catch the chicken first. 😂

Chicken Express is a restaurant that serves delicious food, including spicy tenders and fish. The staff is generally friendly, with some exceptions. The counter staff can be efficient, but the kitchen staff may have occasional issues with order fulfillment. For example, one reviewer had to wait 20 minutes for their order after seeing it prepared, and the cook forgot to include hush puppies. On the positive side, the drive-thru staff is helpful and can assist in choosing the best deal for customers. The restaurant offers a 2-can dine meal option that provides hot, delicious food, though it only includes two small sides, which may not be enough for some customers. Many customers praise the chicken for being never dry, with crispy breading and nice seasonings, and the sweet tea is often highlighted as the best around. The manager, Brook, is noted for being very professional with good communication skills and friendly service. Overall, Chicken Express has good food and helpful staff, but some areas may benefit from additional training to improve the customer experience.
