The food is amazing from country fried steaks to the chile verde yes a great country style restaurant with great Mexican food as well. Me and my family love going every weekend for brunch. The servers are very friendly to top it off. Desserts are delicious down to the root beer float
We had a wonderful lunch here the other day. I believe our waitress was named Tasha, and she was amazing. Kind, perfect timing, just really great service. The food was delicious. I got the fried fish, and it was really crispy and lightly breaded, not greasy at all. The squash is amazing, too. My husband got the meatloaf and he enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere is always really cozy and clean in here, too.
I have a complaint about pick up service. I ordered chicken strips with a baked potato & gravy. (This was on Thursday, June 12th.) When I got home with my order, it was some kind of roast or beef chips, NOT chicken strips! So I had to make another trip to the restaurant & pick up the correct order. Got home & no gravy! Augh!! I told Jaevan, guy who took my order on the phone. to be sure the gravy was in there. I am done with Calico County.
