Smoked food is NOT soul-food. The printed menu is cute, but very deceiving. The menu does not list smoked oxtails as an only oxtail option and smoke was all that I tasted. Two of my three oxtails were very fatty.
The fish is listed as catfish, but swai is the only option. The dirty rice was mid (not good) and the mac and cheese needs work.

good atmosphere and good food
I followed on social media. Looking at the menu thinking that food looks good, wondering if tastes as delicious it looks. Let me tell ya 🦾. This was the best soul food I’ve ever eaten. *****. We tried everything on the menu. 100% satisfied. Service was excellent.
