Every time we go through Amarillo, we stop at Drunken Oyster. The food is always good and has been consistently good over the years. The liquor drinks are tasty. This last time I got seafood gumbo(which I have had before) and it was great . It comes in bread bowl filled with sausage, chicken, shrimp and calamari. A must if you are in Amarillo.
Yet another 5 ⭐ review.. I'm from Charleston SC and this shrimp and grits is Phenomenal. I Don't like to say anything bad about this place because the service is amazing, the music is amazing and the food is off the charts... Amazing. We've always enjoyed the food here — it's consistently excellent, and the kitchen does an outstanding job. Unfortunately, the service during our most recent visit was disappointing. After waiting more than 15 minutes for anyone to take our drink order, we finally had to ask the hostess if we were going to be served, as multiple servers had passed by without acknowledging our table.
