My husband and I have several favorites in Amarillo, but decided to try this place. Upon entering, the place was clean. We were greeted by our server. The salsa was good, but I've had better. My husband ordered enchiladas with red sauce and I had the chile relleno plate. The sauce on the enchiladas was not authentic. It was more of a tomato sauce. My husband described it as spaghetti sauce on enchiladas. The same sauce was on my chile relleno. It was not authentic red sauce, but more of a plain tomatoe sauce with tomatoe chunks. There was a taco and chalupa that didn't have seasoning. I grew up with authentic Mexican food and this place was more Tex-Mex. You can tell if a place is authentic by the customers and during lunch, we saw many older couples that wouldn't want to eat spice. This is the place for them. As for my husband and I, we will go for the authentic Mexican food that doesn't skimp on the spice.

The restaurant is cleaned, but dated! The salsa is fresh and I recommend a side guacamole as well! I has the grilled fish tacos and my husband had the enchiladas with mole sauce! Both dishes were excellent and the pricing is extremely reasonable! Worth the trip!

Great location for travelers just a minute off of 40. Friendly servers. Nice clean atmosphere and good reasonably priced food.
Service and food was great.Kid-friendliness: Wait staff took kids orders,and when it wS ready,brought it right out.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or stairs very accessible for wheelchair of any size.

El Bracero is a nice little restaurant. The food is good however I felt it could have used more seasoning.The service was good and all in all not a bad experience.

Have been to Braceros on Paramount many times but this last time 10/28/23 , there was absolutely NO Customer Service!!! The young skinny girl which I believe is the Hostess, is "pathetic", she doesn't even what Customer Service is!! We went there for breakfast at 10:15 am., there were only 2 tables taken and the rest of the restaurant, "Empty"! When that is the case and a customer aske's if they can sit on the upper level, you should give them the upper level! To be a business and be directing people like a police is NOT the way a business does business! If I was the owner of this restaurant, that Hostess would be fired on the spot or be trained in Customer Service because she doesn't' know the concept of Customer Service!!! When the hostess only gave us the option of sitting on the lower level, we said thank you and walked out! We went to Jacob's just down the street. What a difference at Jacob's, the hostess asked how many people, we said 2, she then said, seat where like! That's how a business should treat their customers, Braceros!!! Good riddance Braceros, you have lost us as your customers!!! A business that doesn't know how to do business, doesn't deserve to be in business ... remember that when you close!!!!
