The restaurant offers solid, filling Tex-Mex fare, like Mexican mothers made you growing up. The salsa bar is a nice touch, but when they say "spicy" they mean it. Customers can choose from a variety of meats, including lengua, green chile pork, and spicy pork. The homemade flour tortillas are perfect for sopping up the comfort food. While the decor could use some touch-ups and the lighting could be improved, the food is delicious and the portions are generous. The birria plate and menudo are both highly recommended.
