I am Mexican-food picky. This hits ALL the marks: happily family-run, freshly-made dishes, smooth beans, housemade tortillas, not overly-cheesed (aka TexMex), and has a full bar. Even though Amarillo has back-to-back Mexican restaurants, I’d go here again.
My friends and I are here for Galentine’s day! We ordered the Birria Tacos and they were DELICIOUS! The horchata was wonderful, and their salsa was perfectly spicy! Definitely going into my top three Mexican food restaurants in Amarillo!
This place is legit. A must stop for quality food. I've been wanting to try torta ahogada for years and this was masterfully prepared. Crispy pork drowned in a flavorful sauce with a nice Árbol sauce. I'm in love with this dish and they set the bar high. The Birria tacos were on point with excellent flavor.
Service was fantastic. This is a popular place that the locals go to and for good reason.
