I had the best experience at Furrbie's today (August 9, 2023). I saw a homeless gentleman on my way back from the gym and asked him if I could help with anything. He asked for some food and told me about Furrbie's. I ordered a hamburger and fries for him, and when I wanted to tip the cashier, she told me to give it to the gentleman instead. How very kind! My husband and I have never eaten there, so I can't rate the food yet (we WILL go!), but they get top marks in service and atmosphere. Thank you all at Furrbie's!

Food is always fresh and delicious. I’m a regular. The employees are always wonderful. The cooks are amazing. The owner is professional and fair! He checks on you! I’ve met him a few times. Good hamburgers! Better than any hamburger place I had in this town. Prices are fair!

I used to frequent this place when I lived in Amarillo, and took many a friend and family to it when ever I could. Used to have meetings here as well fighting the good fight against hateful people, and the owners are nothing but respectable folks trying to make a living and serving amazingly tasty food. Still got my old punch card too! Sadly never got to finish it before I moved away to Dallas, but still gives me good memories!Do try their food, and enjoy the vibes of the little home they set up away from home. This is a hidden gem of Amarillo. I have known the owners most of my life and I’ve never had bad food or a bad experience here. It’s a varied menu of Americana with a few Tex-Mex items to be had if that’s your flavor. I recommend their fried Mushrooms, it’s an all star of their menu. The restaurant is laid out diner style with accent walls featuring different themes (I recommend sitting under the KISS memorabilia, it’s an extensive collection). The restaurant is extremely festive during the Christmas season as the owner loves the holiday and goes all out. If you haven’t had the opportunity to have a burger at Furrbies, get out and do so, you won’t regret it. They do have unusual hours, but are open most days at lunch and have dinner hours as well.

The extreme cheddar burger is soooooo good . The chicken strips are great, they make their own. All the food and service is great.

I went to this dingy burger shop with the bright in your face decorations as it caught my eye walking down the block one day. The place was small, had almost no one in it and the decor was blindsightingly bleak with fake plastic decorations and color posted everywhere. The waiter was abrupt, rude, and was mad when I sent back an uncooked burger. I was rudely treated and I went home hungry. Not an experience I will try again.
