We were impressed with ALL of it! I can’t believe there weren’t more people here. The cocktails are exceptional. We watched the bartenders make many drinks and each one was carefully put together. Our martinis and chiltons were perfect!! We had the ribs as an appetizer. Holy cow! Perfect seasoning. Our table of four each ordered a different dish so we could share. All of them were so good. Food is good but the pickup takes twice as long as they tell you on the phone and they forget everything in your order twice, the waitress noticed a meal was missing, another wait, then when I got in the car, I had another meal missing, another wait. My fries were very soggy by the time I received my whole order and got home two hours later.
Where do I start, Gooney’s is hands down some of the best food you can find in Amarillo! The family owned and operated restaurant is always clean and ready to serve. They have a great menu and different specials throughout the week. I’ve tried many things on the menu but the beef ribs always hit the spot.
