We stopped at Marhaba on our way to Amarillo and the food hit the spot. The lady greeting us was very kind and welcoming and helped us pick the right menu- we got both the veggie and the meat combo and the food was absolutely delicious.

The restaurant interior was also very theme oriented and one that catches your attention the moment you walk in. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into every detail.

Will definitely be back!

After two days of driving and consuming bad, unhealthy food on the road, we came upon this culinary oasis when we arrived in Amarillo. I know what you may be thinking...there is a dissonance when you hear Ethiopian/Eritrean in this beef-centric and golden fried part of the state.

If you’ve never tried East African cuisine, do not be intimidated. It is delicious, super healthy, and an accessible choice.

Wonderful Ethiopian Cuisine. We are vegan, and love a variety of spices. Ethiopian food is a very healthy choice and comes with a delicious spice array. The service is very friendly...and will help you if this is your first time. Dishes are prepared and served on a injerra bread base, with additional injeera.
