Mitch's Texas Style BBQ is a casual barbecue restaurant located inside a gas station, offering a variety of meats and sides. The menu includes options such as brisket, pulled pork, and sausage, as well as sides like macaroni, green beans, and chips. The brisket is praised for its good taste and tender texture, though some reviewers note it can be a bit dry at times. The restaurant also has a condiment bar with various toppings such as pickles, peppers, and BBQ sauce.
One unique feature of Mitch's is their kettle-cooked chips, which are used as a base for their brisket nachos, topped with beans, queso, shredded cheese, jalapenos, and spicy BBQ sauce. Customers can choose additional toppings like sour cream and onions. The portions are generous, making it a good option for sharing. Desserts like banana pudding and lemon bars are also available.
The staff is described as friendly, with recent reviews highlighting excellent service, especially from the team members who greet customers warmly, even when closing time approaches. The atmosphere remains casual, though some reviewers mention that seating is limited and the restaurant can get crowded during peak hours. Some options may be limited towards the end of the day. Overall, Mitch's Texas Style BBQ is a solid choice for those looking for BBQ, featuring convenient truck parking and EV chargers.
