On the plus side: Service is fast to get carryout

On the down side: The sushi rolls are heavily diluted with rice, due to inexperience or margin padding. Regardless, its a bit disappointing.

Nice zen place to eat.

We're big oriental food fans, and this is one of many favorites in Amarillo good food in good sized portions, always a good bet.

An absolute chill sushi restaurant tucked away in Amarillo. There are many great sushi places in Amarillo, but this place is top notch when it comes to the rolls themselves. Lots of traditional foods and not Americanized sushi. I will come back a third time.

Food legit, almost taste exactly like how japan does it. Small and cozy, went right when they opened and it was quiet. Probably a good spot for a date with someone to hang out at the sushi bar. Waitress was good and never had to ask for anything outside normal. Portions were good. My family of 4 was super hungry and we happened to binge eat this time so the bill was about 150 but so worth it. Otherwise the prices are respectable, once you try some you wouldn't complain either. BONUS: They didn't auto charge a tip like some these other big chain places.

i thought i was going to have a good experience with trying japanese food for the first time and i can say, it was horrible. not even the food, the service was horrible, took the waiter 10 mins to come get my drink and by the time i was ready to order my drink i had my food already in mind 🤣🤣. thennnnn i had asked if there was a way i could swap my meat out cause it just wasn’t good, it was disappointing which is not the waiters fault but she told me “theres nothing we can do that’s just waisting food” o asked for the manager, he came, listened to the story, WALKED OFF WITH NOTHING SAID, and then had the waiter come back and say “he usually doesn’t do this but we took urs off the ticket” um excuse me? that’s not how u manage a store.

Took my daughter to eat here. Everything we had was wonderful and the waitress was so attentive and wonderful! Great place to eat

As in everywhere the cost of food is getting expensive so we order and eat at home. If you pick up food the waitress will ask if you want you change back without working for a tip. Ridiculous

For starters, the food was impeccable and so was the service. I gave 4 stars for service because they were so busy. I imagine this is an easy 5 star under different circumstances! 10/10 recommend giving oishii a try !!
