If you live in Amarillo or are just driving through, you should absolutely visit Pan-Handlers Cafe’! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the salad bar was impressive, and the fresh-baked cookies were a huge hit with our whole family! This will be our go-to for lunch anytime we are traveling through Amarillo.

We were on our way to Palo Duro Canyon for a 3 night stay. Stopped here for lunch . The cafe is located in the basement of the Amarillo National Bank. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess. My wife got a small salad bar plate and a cup of broccoli cheese soup, I got a Rueben Sandwich. All delicious. Sampled the Pizza Supreme soup, it tasted like a pizza without the crust - delicious. Had a house baked chocolate chip cookie for dessert. We highly recommend the Pan-Handlers Cafe.
