OMG this is not fine dining. So disappointed. We’ve enjoyed every restaurant at Amarillo, this is very disappointing. My husband ordered steak, medium well, came back, medium, rare, carrots, raw, and I mean raw, crunch raw. I ordered gluten-free pasta, Pasta wasn’t even cooked, was rock hard, prawns were cold, bread was cold. Sent it back 30 minutes later at 10 PM. Finally got my meal when my husband finished his meal l, prawns were still cold, probably used for meal I sent back, but at least the pasta was cooked.. super embarrassing. I would not recommend. This was our last night in Amarillo and wanted to go somewhere special. This was not the place. Just sooooo embarrassing.
Exceptional food and service. Real thoughtful and full service. Excellent food.

We had made a reservation weeks in advance at this restaurant. I brought my family from out of town. The service we received was absolutely terrible. Despite having a party of 13, nothing seemed to be properly organized. Our waitress was incredibly rude. She snapped at us multiple times. We all have experience in the industry and understand the importance of good service, especially on Christmas Eve. We were hoping for a great experience for our out of town family. She only refilled our water once and we had to practically beg for more. Keep in mind, the place wasn't even busy. She rushed us and when I pointed it out, she mentioned having other reservations for that section after us. We left when they were closing and didn't see another customer come in. Our drinks were served at all the wrong times, and although we understood they were busy, when we asked about them, she barked at us saying they were working on it. She pressured us to order all our food together to ensure it would come out on time. None of it did. Some people finished their meals before others even got theirs, and most of our food arrived cold. We all made an effort to be patient and understanding - it was Christmas Eve after all! I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant before! While the food was decent, the overall experience was a disaster. On top of that, we were charged over $1000 for this subpar service. We strongly recommend avoiding having Allie as your waitress.

I would like to begin by mentioning that my first visit at Toscana Italian Steakhouse with my wife some time ago was exceptional; it exceeded all our expectations. However, last night was an entirely different experience for us. We began by waiting for our food for quite some time. Normally, I don't mind waiting, especially for exceptional cuisine, but unfortunately, that was not the case for all the dishes. The Lamb Lollipops were as delectable as they were on our first visit. The BLT Wedge was also delightful, although the wait for that salad was quite lengthy. While I am by no means a fast cook at home, I could have prepared that salad significantly faster than they did. Our main courses were where everything went downhill. I ordered the Toscana pasta & meatballs, and they were very below average; nothing about them stood out. My wife recently made meatballs at home, and no kidding, they were ten times better, and they weren't even homemade. The only notable aspect of the meatballs here was their size. The pasta was also quite below average. My wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo, which was a disappointment. The noodles were very bland, even after being submerged in a soup-like sauce. I've seen many Alfredo dishes in my life, but none like the one here very below average. The greatest disappointment, however, is that, as we all know, Italians are renowned for their exceptional bread. For this establishment to call itself an Italian Steakhouse and serve the most mediocre bread I've ever tasted is a disservice to the Italian culinary tradition. When it comes to the price, I don't mind paying good money for good food I do it all the time. However, for the very mediocre food we received at Toscana, it is not worth a fraction of the price they charge. We could have gone to another favorite place of ours for the same price and received significantly better food and service.

Not good service! Food and menu need some serious work. Steaks were just terrible! Spent $1000 not worth it. Beautiful hotel just need the right support on the culinary side!

Incompetent and pretentious.
Waited 45 minutes for a glass of water in a dirty bottle full of fingerprints to tell us we had to wait another 23 minutes for some spaghetti and angel hair pasta (not like handmaid pasta). Not worth my time or money. Bye!

There was a big hype about this place, so we went to check it out. It was a HUGE disappointment! The steak was ordered medium rare, and the gorgonzola black pepper was a bit overwhelming. I should have done without. The steak itself was ok at best, but full of fat, so a big portion was wasted. At $72 for a ribeye, I was expecting soo much more and left completely disenchanted. There is no way I would go back. We should have gone to the Big Texan. At least there we know what we're going to get. The wait staff was friendly. The smoked pecan old Fashioned was good, but not great. We should have just gone to Public House. Moral of the story is that if you want good drinks, go downstairs to the speakeasy. If you want a great steak Public House, Saltgrass would be a better choice.

For my birthday I had picked out Toscana because I’ve heard wonderful things, which the atmosphere was absolutely PERFECT, every single one of us LOVED our food, now the service on the other hand was HORRID, I believe our waitresses name was Allie, she seemed snooty from the go, she was not happy when she seen my party, we were a diverse group of 10, a few of my friends had just got off and weren’t able to dress up but still were in casual clothes, when I had asked for a red beer she said no we can’t do that in a very ugly manner, which we read the menu and there was Bloody Mary mix so why couldn’t it be made? My friend had discreetly left to find her so he could purchase me a birthday desert, but when he went to find her she was at the table blurting out “where did he go?” Over and over again as if he left or walked on his ticket or something, she had found him at the bar requesting a birthday desert for me. While this is going down my mother and her boyfriend needed another drink from the bar but she didn’t care to ask them if they wanted another drink. I honestly felt that my group was discriminated by their looks, which she messed up because we all work in the service industry and tip very well, we all knew we would get gratuities on our large party, and we would’ve tipped fat on top if we had respectable service. I hate that we had a rude welcoming from the get go. I’d like to think that she just sucked because she knew she was getting a fat tip from the gratuity which is not a excuse since we always tip on top of that but I truly believe we experienced discrimination and I’m not sure if it was based off our ages or color of our skin, but it was sure uncomfortable and this is coming from the Caucasian women! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food, I sure wish we could’ve said the same for our service! I’m not to sure if the basement is connected to Toscana but we sure had a sweet waitress downstairs and I believe her name was Jessie!
