Yellow City Street Food - YCSF

YCSF is a must-try if you’re visiting or passing through Amarillo. Nearly everything on the menu has a corresponding vegan option which is impressive for the Panhandle. Some of the menu items were out of stock when we visited, but it was late in the evening so it was understandable. I tried the veganized classic taco and the dragon tofu. I was very happy with both of them. It wasn’t just good for the area, it was good. I am adding this place to my list every time I’m in town. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-27

If you are looking for a really tasty burger and love some spice, I highly recommend the Santa Muerte burger at this location. Their house sauces, pickled jalapeños and perfectly cooked patties provide an amazing tangy taste. The restaurant itself has a fun vibe. There are a lot of vegan and gluten free options as well.

I had the cali burrito; really good spicy Verde sauce w/ stewed ckn meat on the inside. Very satisfying!!

I pray that they put the Nashville hot chicken macaroni and cheese on the main menu it was so good and so is there dragon tofu tacos 10/10 a lil spicy but good spicy and so fresh, me and my partner go all of the time. A true craving, wish they would sell a cook book, will miss it if I ever move. Please never close!

The food was absolutely amazing. The pork carnitas was spicy but the best taco I’ve ever had was the fish taco. Go there-it’s amazing.

Tacos were delicious and the staff was welcoming. I was in town for an evening in the middle of a roadtrip and would have gone to a chain if my sister hadnt found this place on google. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat over any chain restaurant for food!!

Almost every menu item has a fully vegan option. The burger is absolutely divine and exactly what you want when craving a burger. The tacos were good but the burger was perfect. Great fries too.

Got a decent amount of food from here and just did not enjoy it. Everything felt really heavy and all of the tacos almost felt like they had the same flavor? The animal fries were kind of close to In N Out but just off. My friends got some of the same dishes as me and really enjoyed it so I dunno. Does this even matter?
