If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to drink a beer while dodging a zombie apocalypse, Zombie Bar & Grill is the place for you! This place nails the undead vibe—think Walking Dead meets Cheers, but with fewer brains and more burgers.
First off, the patio. It’s huge, dog-friendly, and probably big enough to host a zombie flash mob (just saying). Our dogs were treated like royalty, or at least the last uninfected survivor, with plenty of space to roam while we enjoyed our drinks in peace.
Shoutout to Andrea, our server! Friendly, attentive, and very good with our curious pups. She made sure we had everything we needed!
In short, Zombie Bar & Grill is the perfect spot if you’re looking to enjoy a night out with your friends, human or canine. Just be prepared—after a few drinks, you might start thinking you can take on the zombie horde yourself. Spoiler: you can't, but you'll have a blast trying!

I came in from Dallas for an event. And I found my perfect spot. Pool tables, rock n roll, and really great food! The entire staff was awesome. I immediately felt welcome in the place, so much so I hung out for about 5 or so hours. Being a vocalist in a metal band back home, I was happy to find a neat little bar and grill! Wendy absolutely killed it! Very nice. Very helpful! Met a few people I will friends now! Thank you all for making me feel welcome here in Amarillo and at Zombiez. I pay it a couple of times. But Static -X has a song called Zombie. Great song for the place! Thanks again to everyone!

Traveling on my way back to Florida from Alaska, I found my kind of place. Typical biker type bar. People being loud, shooting pool, tunes blaring, and most of all, having fun. I enjoyed a salad, wings, and two ice-cold Genesis. The food was great. If you're traveling through Amarillo, you should definitely check out ZOMBIEZ.

Stopped here on the way through on a road trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better time!!! The food is phenomenal, drinks are ice cold, atmosphere is top notch and the bartender Andrea… the SWEETEST SOUL!!!!!! Will be coming back specifically to hang here from open to close! Locals were so kind and inviting. By far my favorite bar I’ve been to in a very long time. So excited to come back for Halloween cause it looks like the BEST TIME!! Highly highly highly recommend!!!

Hands down best place to stop! Driving through the town on a road trip and was looking for a place to stop to eat and have a drinks me stumbled upon Zombiez! Service is amazing the bartender, Andrea, is one of the best bartenders I have ever met and helped me come up with incredible drinks I would never be able to get back home (especially for $3-$5). As for the food, there is no words to express how amazing it is. I had the popper burger and it was the best meal I have had in months. I will definitely be attempting this at home now even though I won’t do it justice. If you are a local looking for somewhere new or just passing through the town is it a must stop for!
