Been wanting to come here for years after driving from Houston to Crystal Beach. Went on. Monday so the place was slow. Staff were super nice, attentive and talkative if you engaged with them. We had a burger and fries which I thought were very solid alongside some Shiner Bocks. It has an old school, dive bar appeal with an expansive covered deck out back that backs up to a waterway. The main room is a bar and the other room is the "restaurant" for dining. It appeared that there was outside seating by the water as well. ? Cash or check only.Went on a Sunday evening and were the only patrons there for dinner. They turned the restaurant lights on for us for our own personal dining experience. ? I had shrimp and oysters and they were cooked to perfection.. missed Amber but got to have a few laughs with Darlene and she was also my cook tonight. I want to thank her and everyone who was there for feeling so welcome and at home.
