My kind of place. I live in a place where catfish is not a normal meal offering. Anytime I am in the southern part of the US, I like to find a place like this. I had the small catfish dinner with beans, slaw, hush puppies, two catfish pieces, and substituted a salad (no potato.) Best part: the waitress. Great meal!
My husband and I love Catfish Sam's. We go there often,and when relatives come into town we take them there. Wow! Finally a restaurant that serves food that brings back the memories of home. The fish n shrimp were fried to perfection. The pickled relish paired perfectly with the beans. Even the baked potato was delightful. But the star of the evening was the dinner rolls—and I’m not much of a bread eater! Gotta try it out.
