Hokkaido Sushi & Steak House

This place is really welcoming and friendly, their servers are top tier and actively try to talk to my table which I love! The food has been amazing, my favorite being their yellowtail sashimi. The servers, Mason and Hoa (I think that's her name), are very sweet and social! The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, I remember the first time I came there was a spinning tuna playing on loop on the TV. Whoever is in charge of the TV needs to keep up the good work.

Great spot for dinner! I had the chicken hibachi, and everything was seasoned well and very flavorful. The vegetables had a lovely char, the rice was a great texture, and the chicken was cooked perfectly and juicy

Came here with family from out of town for a sushi boat and it was phenomenal, fresh & reasonably priced. The star of this place is the service we received from our server Mason. Genuinely the most personable and attentive service I’ve received in a long time. I’ll definitely be returning. 10/10 spot.

First time here and won’t be the last! Mason was a great bartender and felt like we were meeting an old friend. The food was incredible and very generous. The service was perfect ton. We will be back. Thank you, Mason!

Yum yum sauce for $1 a tiny cup is diabolical.. so for roughly 6 ounces all you need is 2 TBS of butter, 2 cloves of garlic chopped and added to butter in microwave to melt it (you can use Jarlick -jar garlic) - once melted add a heaping TBS of mayo (kewpie is phenomenal) add to melted butter and garlic combo. Add soy sauce or chili paste to your liking, and save $4 every order 🙏

We love Hokkaido (in Arlington)! Great food and the service is always amazing especially if you are lucky enough to have the singing manager. It’s always a great experience. We’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so. If you haven’t experienced Hokkaido, you’re missing out!

Best sushi, ramen, and Chinese in one roof

Not sushi grade fish. Ended up cooking the pieces I got in my sushi bento box in the stove. The nagiri was impossible to eat because it kept falling apart.
The portions for the to-go bento are way too small for the price and the fish quality is not up to par for what it used to be. 4 rolls only is criminal for the price. After further reading it seems it has recently changed hands and is under new management. RIP Hokkaido.

Great spot for sushi locally.

Great sushi and a wonderful overall experience! The food was delicious, and Mason provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
