Had the Broccoli and Carrot style entree with beef. Great flavor and fresh. But the broccoli was undercooked and huge. Most places trim it to bite sized pieces. Also, the seaweed salad portion was tiny... about half what I would expect for $6.
This is a great hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. My family has been eating here for over 30 years (they used to be down the street on Lamar).The owner is a great dude and they make good food. All of the terrible reviews are perplexing to me, because the food honestly is about as good as it gets for local American Chinese food.If you're on the fence about eating here, give it a go.
