Traditional Texas BBQ. Cafeteria-style service. Brisket tender and moist. Pork ribs were fall off the bone. Sauce is a bit thick and sweet. Traditional sides and desserts (Blue Bell ice cream for your cobbler). Beans in a tomato forward sweet sauce. Coleslaw cut was coarse and wet, which I like. Everybody talks about the fresh-baked rolls and they are right. Light and slightly yeasty. Staff brings extras around throughout dinner. Private room for large parties. We come to this location about once a month. The last 2 times we didn’t get bread. I told one of the ladies in a purple shirt (I can’t remember her name) and she made sure we got our bread. We received it and it was the best part of our meal.
