Absolutely one of the best wineries to visit in Texas! My girls and I had THE BEST time when we visited last weekend. Benita and Roger took such great care of us. There were delicious cocktails waiting for us upon arrival and a gorgeous table set up. The wines were delicious, as were all the snackies (loved the flatbread bruschetta). There were even some local author books for sale! (Yes I got one…Benita’s name was in the plot summary!) Ultimately, we stayed longer than we were scheduled to, only to come back again 30 minutes later when we figured out our last stop was closed. Honestly, we weren’t even bummed since it meant more time at Castle Oaks. Highly, highly recommend. I hope to make it to pizza night on a Friday sometime!

We had a girls get together and looked for a winery near Athens and close to Canton. Castle Oaks seemed like the perfect location. What a wonderful surprise. It was off the beaten path for sure, but a lovely drive. We had flights of wine and then settled into our favorite glass. The wine was very good, the cacciatore board was off the chart. It was the best I've ever had. Yes, we will be back!!

Owners are always on hand to visit with the guest & telling us all about their wines. We appreciate their exceptional service. (Last year we booked our company Christmas party at Castle Oaks - Benita & Roger pulled out all the stops) We only have great things to say about this winery!

Our group went there fory birthday, and we were SO IMPRESSED! The owner and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made our visits fun. Dinner selection was great, especially reds. Will be back again!
