“Our usual donut shop (close to the house) was closed so we found this shop. I’m a visitor to Athens and this shop is a little hard to see from the street (if you’re unfamiliar with the town you might miss it) but GPS picks it up just fine. Service was excellent and the donuts were great. My only issue is that my granddaughter wanted a breakfast sandwich and they don’t make them at Daylight Donuts. Still….. great place.“
“Passing through Athens, we stopped in for doughnuts. A customer there kept telling us they are the best donuts ever. We left with 3 or 4 doughnuts and a sausage roll. They truly ARE incredibly wonderful! Fresh, soft, delightfully sweet without being too sweet. Perfect! Wish we had gotten a dozen! Earl Campbell's Sausage roll was great too! Very sweet person waited on us. Will definitely visit again whenever we are in the area. Highly recommend!!“
“Picked up a mixed dozen for an office, a spicy boudin for myself. Friendly staff.The boudin had a nice bite and was good!If they would add pepper jack cheese in the kolache with the boudin, they’d be a contender for what I get over in Louisiana.“
“I stop here every morning after church, 9am. Always friendly and quick. They have the lightest donuts I have every eaten. Not greasy at all. I love the chocolate glazed and my husband will not eat glazed from anywhere else. We have test tasted many donuts around the area and cannot find anywhere that has the ones as good as theirs. We are addicted!“
“Traveling through this town and during our time in Athens made it here 3x. Donuts are perfect. A bag of donut holes is all you need! But I’d get 4 because the prices are great. ?the egg sandwich croissants are delicious too. Low key casual spot to dine in and eat donuts! I Support Local!“
