I have driven past this place for a long time and finally stopped in. What a treat it was. They have daily specials and this day was "free dessert" with any plate. So naturally, I got ribs and brisket with my free banana pudding. The ribs were sweet, and the brisket was very tinder and seasoned well. My only negative thing to say about the meal was that they placed a ladle worth of bbq sauce over the meat while plating it all. I like to try the BBQ without the sauce before, but the sauce was good as well.The banana pudding was very fluffy, and I could have eaten the full pan of them. The sweet tea had great flavor, strong but not overwhelming, and not chicken express sweet either.
The owners are top notch, hard working folks! This is definitely the best mom & pop BBQ we’ve ever had! Highly recommend the chopped beef sandwich it is sooo good. They also have a Mexican restaurant in Athens called Cinco De Mayo, which is outstanding.

Kinda strange for me, we read good reviews on Google map about nice and friendly waitresses, and great food, so we decided to stop. When we went in, a lady was standing behind the counter, I said hi, y'all had great reviews, so we decided to come check y'all out. She stood there looking at me, never saying anything. As we were looking at the menu, she stated rudely what do you want. My husband said a two meat plate, she looked at me and said rudely what do you want. Then she asked what meat, he said sausage and brisket. She stated rudely we don't have sausage or ribs. She never stated what meat they did have, until my husband asked . Then she stated what do you want. At that time I looked at my husband and asked him do you want to leave, and go to another barbecue place. I've never been to a place where the waitress was so rude!!! The food might have been good, but we will never know, due to how we were treated at the door.
