Loooove Twisted Root and have frequented multiple locations for many years. This is visit three to the Athens location, and I have been left disappointed by the food twice. It is a simple matter of over-cooking the burgers. TR burgers are best when no more than a juicy medium, but the cooks here seem to push it to medium-well or well-done, leaving the patties dry and less flavorful. The sides are fantastic (Choose the onion strings over the fries--you'll thank me!), the staff...

I came to Twisted Root recently and the food was great. Eleigh and Mckinlee were working and they provided a great experience and were very sociable with their guest and made sure everyone was taken care of. Highly recommended

We absolutely love twisted root burger company. It is one of the only places we found the gluten-free bun option which taste better than the regular buns in my opinion . Prices are a little high, but so are everyone's...But the service food and atmosphere definitely make up for it😉
