So excited to have an authentic German restaurant right here in Aubrey! Pork schnitzel was great, rotkraut was great, and the mashed potatoes were perhaps the best we’ve ever had. They have a variety of German beers and wines. We’ll be back for sure!
***UPDATE***After I posted my last review the owner contacted me for details and offered to cook for me personally. My wife and I went for lunch and the food was completely different! So good and flavorful. He confirmed our suspicions that the kitchen staff was overwhelmed and executed the food poorly. He truly cares about his customers and for that we will definitely be returning.I don’t like leaving bad reviews unless it’s really bad. The food was just not great at all....
I was sooooooo wanting this place to be great; it was ok. Please read in full, my family and I might be (as she says) German food snobs, but I am from Berlin and with that said have had great German food in many places (in the US). We were told about this spot by my dad's neighbors and they warned us that it was "ok", but I'll never pass up a chance to try german cuisine and Bier!
