We took our clients here for lunch and had such a great experience. The staff was amazing—warm, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. The food was outstanding. We started with the 5-appetizer plate, which was perfect for sharing, and each of us ordered our own dish afterward—every plate was delicious. Overall, a fantastic spot. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!

Food was fantastic and Alex was personable and helpful in selections. Filet onion stir fry was well cooked and has great flavor and texture. Definitely going again and trying more offerings

Super welcoming service, and staff was knowledgeable about the large menu. Everything we were recommended was delicious, especially the Crispy Chicken Pad Thai and the eggrolls.

The good was good, portions were not what we expected as they were smaller and had to order more to be about to share amongst the 6 of us.
The duck was great, definitely must try!
Drinks were great as well!

Came here early March of 2025, tried the duck meat and my friend tried the Brisket Pho. The experience I had at this restaurant was top notch and a 10/10 the greatest Asian restaurant I’ve ever ate at in Austin so far. Need to go back again as it’s been nearly a year.

It was packed on Saturday night, so be sure to arrive early. Our friend called the same day and managed to snag a 5pm reservation. The atmosphere is lively, the food is delicious, and the live band adds a great touch. I had the Vietnamese vermicelli noodles with lemongrass duck skewers, which were excellent. For dessert, the cheesecake was amazing! they lit the alcohol and the flames made it such a show! Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Austin!

Loved the Thai Tum Yum & Fried Rice served in a coconut—aromatic, slightly smoky, and packed with juicy shrimp and sweet pineapple, with a fun tropical presentation that felt special. The dining room felt cozy and inviting with warm lighting, perfect for an unhurried meal. Friendly, attentive service and fair prices—would gladly return.

1618 is the highlight of any Austin trip. The Pad Thai in particular was incredible with fried noodles and a rich sauce that made it easily the best I've ever had. The soup dumplings were also rich and delicious. But you cannot leave without getting their desserts. The brulee cheesecake has a bit of a presentation they do that is very fun.

We dined here a couple of weeks ago when we stayed in Austin. Absolutely delicious! Great service and atmosphere, and the most interesting mix of items on the menu. We chose the restaurant because while my son loves sushi my daughter doesn’t. We had eaten the standard American fried food for several days and wanted something different. I had the vegan yellow vegetable curry which was incredibly good. I wish I lived closer. Everyone loved everything. I can’t say how much we spent per person because my son-in-law paid. Full bar. Lots of parking in a garage near by. I recommend getting a reservation. We dined on a Wednesday and it was heaving. I can only imagine how busy it is on a weekend. My only other comment is for anyone like us who has hard of hearing friend: this is not the place to go. Such a lovely, busy atmosphere we would not be able to carry out a conversation with our friend who wears a hearing aid.

We got there on a Thursday evening for a cute little date night and from the appetizers to the entrée were amazing. The drinks were just so good and then the live music was amazing. The service was amazing. I give this a 10 out of 10.

The pineapple was definitely not what they make it look like and the taste was okay. Definitely not worth the $25
