Me and my husband had the beef kabob, and it was probably the best Iraqi style kabob I’ve had since moving to Texas. I live in Dallas, but came here for a visit, and had to stop by based on some friends’ recommendations. This did not disappoint, and the portions were A LOT. Highly recommend if you’re in Austin:)

Another hidden gem. Came here on a Wednesday during lunch. Not too busy, just two orders in front of me. I ordered the No. 1 which is a lamb/beef shawarma. Top notch, friends. Every ingredient from the bread to the meats, tomatoes and tahini were rich and flavorful. Not spicy, so maybe I’ll ask for some heat next time.

I had the Arabic shawarma plate here and tried both the chicken shawarma and the lamb & beef shawarma – and it was amazing! The flavors were very authentic and reminded me of real Middle Eastern street food, but still had a freshness and taste that stood out. The garlic sauce was spot on, and there was plenty of it (which is always a must with shawarma).
The food came out quickly, and everything was hot and fresh. The brother running the truck was very kind and courteous – you can tell he really cares about the food and the customers. It’s rare to find service like that these days.
There’s also a good amount of outdoor seating, which makes it easy to sit, relax, and enjoy your meal right there. Plus, they’re open late, which is perfect when you’re craving something flavorful and filling at night.
And of course, everything is halal – which makes it even better. Overall, this is one of the best food trucks in Austin for authentic Arabic/Mediterranean food. Highly recommend if you want great shawarma, good vibes, and excellent service.

I did not find any of the bad reviews to be true personally - they had prices clearly listed on one of their signs, and the food was delicious! I got the chicken shawarma wrap and not only was it delicious but the serving was so generous for the price. They were so nice too! I was hoping to get to speak a little Arabic and got to have a nice convo with one of the other patrons who was very patient with my rusty vocab. :) شكراً جزيلاً و عشّت عيدكم

This place is FANTASTIC. Food is always fresh, and very generous portion sizes. Great taste, yum sauce. Perfect in my opinion.

Genuinely delicious, might be my favorite shawarma place in all of Austin. The lamb/beef shawarma is the star of the show; juicy, tender, flavorful, all smothered in Iraqi triangular bread. If you're looking for regular pita-wrapped shawarma, the Chicken shawarma is very authentic as well, though the lamb shawarma is my favorite so far.
