Lots of Mexican sweet breads! Also cakes are available to be order for birthdays and other events. Limited grocery's available, more of a quick run instead of going to a big store. They also have fresh breakfast breads available in the mornings.
Every since I moved to Houston (12 years ago) I have always had a hard time finding a bakery that reminds me of my hometown and how they baked their sweet bread! That's until I discovered Panadería Tierra Caliente , the way they bake their bread definitely reminds me of my hometown and the smell! Everything is so tasty there! My favorites are empanadas (all of them) ,their bolillo bread of course, and the Conchas are the bomb.com! Oh let's not forget about the little piggy's!...read full review

This bakery is wonderful and the people are very helpful!! The manteconchas were the hit of the Fiesta!!! Guests could not stop asking me where I bought them. I went in the day before the event and ordered 150 pieces of pan dulce. I picked everything up very early the next morning and everything was perfectly packed and ready to go!! The bread was warm and perfect!! Could not have asked for better service and sweet bread. Gracias!!
