Go on Tuesday. Tipping is now required.

When isn't Alamo Draft House the best place for a movie?

Showed up 2 minutes late and wouldn't allow me too watch my movie, after running a mile done the road/parking lot...I would've been willing to pay extra, but the lady told me I couldn't get in( even though the movie was 5 min playing.... SMH won't be back again

Overpriced food and uncomfortable seats. If you’re looking at getting a sandwich and fries and want to sub fries for a side salad, they will charge you $3+ extra. All orders are now charged 18% service fee for the whole bill, no matter how many people are in your party. On top of that, you are asked to leave an additional tip for your server. We had two snack passes from nine months ago that we tried to use on our last visit and the theater did not honor them. The coupons did not list an expiration date on them, and the manager told us that the coupons were just for the “slow” season. How are customers supposed to know when the slow season is and when to use the coupon by? Bad business practice and very dishonest, in my opinion. If you’re looking for a nice place to watch a movie and eat good food, I would suggest Moviehouse and eatery.

Alamo is always a win

Love the concept! Being able to order food and drinks right from your seat throughout the movie is amazing. Please open some locations where I live in California. I am a huge fan!

Alamo is doing cinephile things nobody else is doing. Imagine a YouTuber running a channel on film did hours of research on the film you were about to see and made a 20m video referring to the cultural references and DVD extras one might find and then put all that up front of the movie instead of previews. Wouldn't that be better? Alamo does that.

Being forced to pay a tip is not good buisness.

Laura, the manager misjudged me, Very Rude. Over a small situation. She needs to be replaced... Dont stop here, go to a better place to avoid people like her. But this is what happens when you don't stay in school. And you think working at a theater is all that life has to offer. Stay in school, adventure your life.

I love all the Alamo locations, but have to give this one less star for the less comfortable seat and table arrangements.

Seats are uncomfortable. To far apart .

This theater has become my go-to venue due to proximity. Being a quick walk away, parking isn't a dilemma for me, but has been when I lived further away. As long as you're not precious about parking near the venue, there is plenty to be had. The staff is usually professional, friendly & most of the time prompt & accurate with taking & delivering my order(s), but some do neglect to note my custom requests (i.e. extra ketchup for my fries). With many of the other other ADs getting recliner seats with their own serving tables & other updates, I do hope they follow suit. Otherwise it's always clean with a handicap entrance & fully stocked & consistently clean facilities.
