Alamo is doing cinephile things nobody else is doing. Imagine a YouTuber running a channel on film did hours of research on the film you were about to see and made a 20m video referring to the cultural references and DVD extras one might find and then put all that up front of the movie instead of previews. Wouldn't that be better? Alamo does that.
This theater has become my go-to venue due to proximity. Being a quick walk away, parking isn't a dilemma for me, but has been when I lived further away. As long as you're not precious about parking near the venue, there is plenty to be had. The staff is usually professional, friendly & most of the time prompt & accurate with taking & delivering my order(s), but some do neglect to note my custom requests (i.e. extra ketchup for my fries).
