I almost hesitate giving this place 5 stars as I don't want it to get crazy lines like other places that are amazing that are around town. Stumbled across this gem because I didn't want to wait 45+ minutes at Vera Cruz. I haven't been to Vera Cruz since. The breakfast tacos are so good, so big, homemade tortillas and salsa and just wow. The chilaquiles breakfast taco and the fiesta is the best tacos I've had in Austin. And I've had most of them. Do yourself a favor and check this out immediately but shhhhhhhhh... let's keep it a secret.

Awesome food! Mario was super friendly and gave good recs. We got the beef empanadas, lengua tacos, tostadas and something else (can't remember the name) but everything was delicious. Would highly recommend!

My hotel recommended the well-known taco truck up the street but they had a half hour wait. Instead I wandered over here and I'm thrilled I did. The fresh made tortillas couldn't have been better and the green salsa might be the most flavorful I've ever eaten. Plus, the guy behind the counter was as charming as could be and even offered to bring my tacos to the Flat Track coffee shop around the corner. I think my fancy hipster coffee cost almost as much as my tacos, btw. I'll be back tomorrow. You should go too.

Skip the taco chains, this place is amazing! They make their own flour tortillas on site when you order them, sooooo good. Mario is the owner and he's absolutely salt of the earth great guy, can't recommend this place more highly. Grab coffee at flat track next door and then come over and grab tacos from Mario.

This is a great taco stand... Amazing breakfast tacos and chilaquiles. The owner was in the seating area and was very welcoming and charming. The taco truck is super authentic and we cannot recommend them more.
