Great meal and outstanding service. Our server, Andreas, went out of his way to make sure we were happy and gave us great recommendations and descriptions!
Food and service is excellent but it was too loud and hard to hear what my companions were saying. Not everyone seemed to have that problem so maybe it was where we were seated but it was hard to hear. While it's very good it's not inexpensive.
so good and fun!! the vibes were great, food and drinks were amazing, and wonderful service.
We've been to ATX Cocina for dinner many times over the years and it's always good. Today was our first time at brunch and we loved it. Our two dishes - the carne y papas and migas-chete - were both so tasty. And we didn't need it, but absolutely loved the banana cake. Service was excellent, too. Definitely recommend!
The best, fresh Tex Mex. Our waiter was amazing, so well spoken and knew so much about the menu! We shared a lot of the food, and everything was so delicious!
Our favortie restuarant in Austin, we love ordering a bunch of appetizers and do that often. WE both eat gluten free so this place rocks.

It's a little pricey, but worth it. I'd recommend the Sopes, Coctel de Compechana, Crab Relleno and the Queso Fundido. The bites are filling, so it's easy to over order. The cocktails are fantastic too. We will be back!

Came here with a group of girl friends for my 50th and everyone said the food was worth the trip across the country! Several would come back to Austin hair to eat here again Our waiter was charming, helpful, and fun. I was delighted that they had mocktails and didn't sing to me!

I’ve visited ATX cocina on several occasions, it was probably one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. Last night, that changed. While most of our food was fine, the carne asada I ordered was almost inedible. I had to spit half of it into a napkin because I literally was unable to swallow it. I was hoping to tell our waiter before I (attempted) to eat it, but being a Saturday night, service was sparse and inadequate for the price you’re paying. I ended up having to share the other meal. I brought it up to management’s attention and thought apologetic, their remedy was a $13 discount which felt like a slap in the face. If I’m paying $50 for a steak, I better be able to eat it all. Sadly quality is just not there as it was, I’ve routinely come to this place on a busy night and service was disappointing and food just fine. Probably one of the most mediocre dining experiences I’ve had in a while. There are much better places in Austin for this kind of price. ATX is definitely off my recommended list.
Overall amazing food, amazing service, and great price. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a LOT of great food. The Himachi Crudo was out of this world and the El Jefe 40oz aged ribeye for 2 with a side of brussel sprouts was cooked literally to perfection. This place was very impressive, I would give a 4.5 star overall if Google would let me but since I can't I always round up to 5. I would not count this as a Michelin rated restaurant quality but I can tell it's a solid consistent incredible place to eat in Austin.

All food items were excellent. Didn't love the beer on tap selection (after they brought me a sampler), but they had bottles to fill the gap.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Creative and delicious dishes with a warm and cozy yet chic atmosphere make this place a must visit. Our server Amanda was awesome and didn’t miss a beat! She even took time to include our favorite wine into our reservation notes so that we can remember what it is for next time. Give this girl a raise!

Failed on all counts: drinks, food (chicken, crab relleno), service. And, uh, maybe paint the bathroom doors if you're going to charge $50 for an entree. Also the bartender might ask how the dinner is, kind of like at Chili's
