Fast counter service type of place. My go to is the vegetarian bahn mi, which is a tofu/seitan mix that's super juicy, plenty of pickled veg and cilantro on the freshest crunchy baguette. Huge and only like $7.
I have eaten here probably 20 times even though I live 4 hours from here. I make a special stop off of I37 and try to time Austin for when I will be hungry. I get the chicken Banh Mi usually although sometimes Grilled Beef. It is always excellent. The sandwich is the perfect size. If I ate like this every day I would lose a little weight, but only very slowly. Its a great lunch or dinner. A child of mine would eat it for breakfast. I absolutely love this place. My partner and I have been eating here about once a week since we discovered it. The bread is perfectly crispy and the meat is amazing. Also recommend the bao which was fantastic. There's also vegetarian options.
