My family and I went here for my little brothers 19th birthday and had the most amazing experience. Our server, Raul (hope I spelled that right) was the nicest person. He was super attentive and made my brothers day special. We will all definitely be back especially to see him. He truly made our day!

I went for the cover bands during a Saturday afternoon. I did order some German food and washed it down with quite a few beers. (Dunkel).

10/10 place. The food is amazing, the drinks are great and the servers know what just to recommend for drinks. Even the kale was delicious. We didn’t leave a crumb! 😅

Massive beer list and house-made sausages. Lively, dog-friendly, and good for groups.

Food was absolutely delicious. Great beer selection. Service left a bit to be desired. Had to go track someone down to close out our bill which was pretty annoying.

I have to say my husband and I had an odd experience here. We were greeted by a friendly guy working the garden area. He instructed us to go in (our choice), scan the barcode on the table, and place our order, which we did. We were not greeted inside, no input on the menu, not served water, no contact at all until someone from the kitchen brought us our food. We asked this server for water and she seemed frustrated we had not received it already. The sausage I ordered was too spicy for me to eat (which could have been prevented with input on the menu). We ate our dinner and left, again with no interaction from staff. The food was good but we will not return.

Phenomenal food and lots of options for drinks. The only negative is that it is on rainy street 😂

What an incredible place! Our server, Bolton, was absolutely amazing. So sweet & friendly! He gave great recommendations & told us so much about the restaurant and surrounding street.

We split the salsa verde sausage with bacon brussel sprouts & the duck & fig sausage with fries. Such unique and delicious house made sausages. Perfect to go with the giant beer list.

The ambiance of this place is so relaxing & laid back, with all the historic brick. A little sad to see all boring high rises going up, but it makes it that much more special that the owner is keeping a preserving this beautiful space.

Great spot in Austin Texas. Good food, indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of craft beer to choose from and great live music. You may have to walk a bit to find parking, but it is Austin.

Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden in Austin’s Rainey Street Historic District is an excellent place to enjoy great food, drink, music, and people watching. Staying at the nearby Cambria Hotel, I had walked by here a few times and thought to myself that this would be a nice place to hang out and imbibe. I was not disappointed. By the time I actually arrived , after a soccer match, it turned out to be about five minutes before closing time. Nevertheless, they welcomed me, and I was able to enjoy a couple of fine sausages, and beer from one of 101 taps on this side of the facility (there are 101 more taps on the other side!). To order, I had the Jalapeño Cheddar Bratwurst and the Spanish-Style Chorizo, both of which came with a pile of hand cut fries. OMG, they were both absolutely delicious; well prepared and very tasty, fries included. Very much recommended… but please come earlier than I did. Very much recommended.

We’ve been to Banger’s three times now and it never misses. I’ve been meaning to leave a review, but honestly, the pictures I took don’t do the food justice, I just kept forgetting to take them before all the food is gone, it’s just that good.

The Boudin Balls with Spicy Remoulade are always the first thing I recommend. So good. The Tri Tip with Crunchy Potato Pillows was another favorite, super tender and the potatoes were crispy little bites of heaven.

Also, definitely try the jalapeño cheddar sausage, great flavor and just the right amount of spice.

Overall, solid food, great vibe. We keep coming back for a reason. 10/10

Confused. Why were some people only allowed to get up to self serve their water from a Yeti cooler & other customers were brought iced water to their table? The caucasian people in my section were brought cups of ice water. (inside)
