Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden

Loved this place! I was in Austin for the week of June 22 for a conference. My first time here, I was alone and just needed something to eat relatively fast. The Maxwell Street Polish really captures the flavor and texture of a good Polish sausage. It reminded me a lot of my grandparents homemade sausage! I wound up eating here twice more and was impressed each time. This isn't just a beer & brats place! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Most of the seating is outside, which was a bit uncomfortable that week due to the hot weather. But I'll be back the next time I'm in Austin!

This place is soooooo cool. Great building and super fun. Over 100 beers on tap and tons of good ones plus great food. Honestly the staff was what did it for me though. They were so nice, so genuine, so helpful, fun to talk to. The host was great, a server I ask for directions was great, my bartender was great and turned me on to the best heffeweizen I've ever had. Overall this place is amazing. They also had an amazing vegetarian braut option. So good.

The corned beef hash skillet was watery and gross.

Food was amazing, and the drink selection can not be beat!

This is an amazing place. Some years ago I met up with some friends from high school and this is where we gathered - it’s perfect for such things with lots of room and great open air atmosphere. Today I was solo but it’s just so good - the smell of cooking bbq and then the food itself. I just got a traditional bratwurst with kraut and mustard with fries and a root beer. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Great sausage and beer if that is what you are looking for. Large selection, bar atmosphere with lots of outside seating.

Beer and food so good

We went on a Friday early evening. Food selection is hugh. But if you order from different kitchens (depending on the choice) you might have the problem to get part of the food a lot earlier as the rest.
Additionally the music was too loud for our liking (started after we already sat down and ordered - otherwise we would not have chosen this restaurant)

Banger's has some amazing and tasteful food. The sausage options was quite overwhelming. Once we decided what we were getting , we were not disappointed. The burger also has a lot of flavor and is cooked well.

The location and layout is what makes this place really stand out! The food is ordered by scanning QR codes. Seating is anywhere from outside, inside, or on a second floor patio.

Definitely recommend!

The food is excellent, atmosphere and staff is great!!! They have their own smoke house on site. If in town, you have to stop and have a bite of their great food !!

My family loves Banger's! The sections of sausages and bacon are varied and so yummy. This weekend, William guided us to some great beer options too. The band this Sunday rocked! We look forward to returning soon!

We meet up with friends from out town and they wanted to check out Banger's. It's our first time eating here and boy do they have plenty of beers and wine to choose from! Normally we would order IPA's but wine pairing with the sausages was what we opt for. The out door benches, friendly staff, and tasty food made our Sunday brunch more enjoyable. Did I mention, there were live bands playing just a few feet away. Typical rainy street vibe and atmosphere, and less crowded. We will sure come back again and try out more of the beers selection!
