Wandered in on a Sunday to find happy hour going. Martinis are on point, both the sashimi and rolls were decent. The bar is a bit of a vibe, filled up pretty quickly within 30 minutes of opening. The service is good and our food came out at a good pace. I’ll definitely be back in to check out more dishes.

Fantastic happy hour pricing for food and drinks. We had 3 rolls, calamari, a pop, and a couple of beers for under $50.I loved my tempura shrimp roll. Tried the bf and they were too fishy for me. LOL!!! He liked them.Servers were okay. We are used to service where the person doesn't act like they hate their life and are on the edge of quitting. Also LOL!! Did get good suggestions for what to try for what we were in the mood for.

Lulu can't really go wrong with bar chi: This place is a solid 4/5. I only give it a 4, because the hood isn't 5/5 quality but for the price point it's perfect.

Phoned them to make a reservation for Friday evening, but was sadly unable to make it on time. The reservation staff were more accommodating than expected. After a wait at the bar --before we finished our drink-- they managed to find us a table. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you all for rescuing our evening!

Love this sushi restaurant so much and have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Only issue that is a huge concern is that last night I realized that there is absolutely NO BABY CHANGING STATION in either restroom. Huge problem. My son had an upset stomach and no baby changing station absolutely ruined my dinner. Barchi, please be considerate of parents and our children

Food was delicious. It's not too expensive for what you get, it's actually a good deal. Disappointed they no longer have oyster shooters, now they use quail egg instead of oyster. Can't be as good but I wouldn't know because I passed. It was my birthday and they treated me to a tempura cheesecake as a surprise. It was delicious! The surprise was nice. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I'd recommend Bar Chi Sushi for good sushi, drinks, and fun atmosphere. I'll be back for reverse happy hour. Thanks for helping to make my birthday special.

The beef tataki is delicious and so is the cucumber roll. The gyoza were light and tasty and the miso soup is always good here. They have a very good sake selection too. And the service was friendly and efficient. An excellent choice every time.

Bar chi was so delicious! I don't think there was one thing we ordered that we didn't enjoy! Some were so good we had to order another! Me and the girls cane during happy hour and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service we were provided! We came right when happy hour started I believe that was 4pm( check website to make sure I don't quite recall) no wait when we arrived. We ordered a good amount of apps and rolls along with sake bombs because, DUH ITS HAPPY HOUR! There is street parking all around as well as some parking lots and garages. Happy hour prices weren't too bad we spent about $50 a person before tip and we were all absolute stuffeedddd when we were done! It was so good along with my company I forgot to take photos I will update this review upon my next visit!

Great happy hour, love their sushi rolls and drinks! Love the food and atmosphere. Parking can definitely difficult and bathrooms have been a little dirty each time we’ve gone.

Sushi pizza! Everything we have had here is close your eyes and savor amazing, but the pizza is something I would pop in for if I lived in the area. My husband and I love the atmosphere too.My only complaint... The bathrooms are so dim it was difficult for me to put my red lip stick on, and there is always a line.

Late night happy hour! What more could you ask for?My friend's first time at BarChi. She went a little overboard wanting to try many things. I started with the large Sho Chiku Bai unfiltered sake. My friend had a Hibiscus mint martini (the server said it was the least sweet martini). It was still fairly sweet. As a vegetarian, she ordered the Vegetable Tempura, Fried Spring Rolls, Seaweed Salad, Shitaki mushroom skewers and a Avocado roll which we shared. I also had a Sea Bass and an Escolar nigiri both were excellent. (If you don't know use caution when having Escolar. Eating too much of this fatty fish will result in disastrous consequences. Look it up! I learned the hard way in the past.)My friend ordered the Spicy Strawberry martini which wasn't very spicy but was more sweet than the first. We closed down the restaurant and had a very pleasant late night downtown.
