I do not understand how this restaurant has a star. The food was just alright. The opening crudo and the closing steak and buns were the best plates of the night, but even then nothing I am craving to have again. Once my first drink was taken, I was not asked about another until two courses later. The lighting and decor left much to be desired, and overall there was a spark missing in both the atmosphere and the food.
For my individual price tag totaling two hundred fifty...

The atmosphere was beautiful, dark and amber like. Accompanied by a wonderful hostess that catered to any allergies and alcohol specific questions that were thrown at her.
The 8 course meal was timed correctly, no long wait between step with surprises between.
Bar seating is highly suggested.

My spouse and I just celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary and we wanted to do something fun. We have heard great things about Barley Swine and celebrated there! We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The entire meal from beginning to end was perfect.

Every single bite of every dish was perfectly balanced. Each dish had its own distinct profile that elevated the flavors of the ingredients in a cohesive and complimentary manner. It is literally the best...
