The staff was super friendly, kind, and accommodating.
The coffee at Barrett's is good, and the outdoor seating area has improved since I've been visiting. However, the recent staff seem less friendly and attentive. There were no greetings or thank yous, which made the experience feel impersonal. During my last visit, the lady taking the drink orders was quite busy chatting away with the barista instead of taking our order or the order of the customer standing behind me. Barrett’s Too offers good coffee and a super chill environment with a laid back and welcoming staff. The vibe is very hipster and chill, making it a place to decompress and chill out after a hectic workday. The baristas are great, super friendly and knowledgeable, though some recent staff have seemed less friendly and attentive, with no greetings or thank yous. Octavio’s Kitchen at Barrett’s is seriously delicious, serving a ton of vegan options that are an absolute delight, including flavorful tacos. The owner is one of the nicest people. The outdoor seating area has improved, and there is a TON of seating out back where many events are hosted, like popups, talks, and movie nights. Barrett’s is also pet and kid friendly, since there’s an outdoor play area. Parking in the front can be limited, but it is a great place to grab a cheapish drink and smoke on the patio. The coffee is the best in town, and it is not crowded during the week.
