I ordered an Everything Bagel with plain cream cheese, I asked for it to be toasted, but I didn't notice it once I got the bagel, that said, the flavor was good and the ambience of the resturant was nice.

They also had a jar of pickles and I got one of those and it was excellent.

I ordered a pastrami sandwich with nothing but pastrami and bread. I selected zero of their toppings on their $28 sandwich. They sent it slathered in mustard. I called to let them know and was told it was all my fault and while a manager would reach out to me, I need to learn how to order properly because they’re perfect and the customer is wrong. No one reached out. They refuse to refund for their mistake. They also gave me iced tea instead of the coke I ordered and told me my Uber Eats driver stole it. They have mediocre food, huge prices, awful customer service and they won’t take responsibility for their mistakes. Avoid at all costs. Go to Central Market for your deli meat. Biderman’s is the worst in Central Texas. A shonda. No self respecting Jewish person or deli fan will waste their money on this crap food and service. Blah.

Whoever bought this place destroyed it. Sucked out all that was special and left a shell of what it was 3 or 4 years ago. There are still kind, smiling faces helping you, but past that zero stars.

Was given day old bagels represented as worth full price. I went in and asked nicely if she could possibly add some cream cheese because 4 day old bagels seemed a little over priced for $12. The woman behind the counter was rude and dismissive, telling me no, I could buy some cream cheese. I tried this place out for the first time hoping to be a new customer. The service is not up to par and the bagels were hard and stale. Go elsewhere.

Chicken salad was good, but wish the bread was fresher.

Tbh this has easily been my worst food experience in Texas probably anywhere in the US for service. I get you can make the wrong order have the wrong thing delivered etc. it happens no big deal...."Pronoun""manager gave me a disgusting diatribe lecture in life, politics, social climate, and refused to change my food... all I did was ask that they exchange my food after giving me the wrong thing, but this individual definitely didn't like that I didnt look like "it"s" staff and even mentioned some nonsense about a safe space. I mean talk about no accountability --I politely asked if I could have the correct order and that's what I got back...I would never ever go back in.

I can’t really say much because we’ve been unable to contact or order from the restaurant for two days now.

My father passed away on Saturday and people offered to bring food to our home for sitting Shiva in his honor. As the only Jewish deli in Austin we directed everyone to Bidermans to get what we needed. No phone number works, instead it asks for some code and hangs up on you. And the website is limited - we needed deli trays and that’s not an option.

Very disappointing at an already difficult time. Plus we’ve been wanting to try your food for a while now.

We used to live in the far west area 4 years ago. We happened to be in the area today and decided to grab lunch here as it used to be one of our favorite restaurants. This place is nothing like it used to be. Service was the only good thing here today. The place was very dirty, the sandwich was way over priced for what we got. I ordered the BLT and the bacon used to be these really thick slices and tasted amazing. The bacon now is thin and almost burnt. The bread was tough too. Very sad this place isn't what it used to be

I gave this place a shot and was completely shocked with how dirty the establishment looked. I didn’t notice until after ordering. The floors, counters, establishment door, ect. I’ve been to some pretty rough places to eat which has never bothered me as long as it seemed sanitary but this place hit different. On top of that, the employees who took our order and ran our food were eating behind the order counter in plain sight. I received my soup first, and my husband’s soup came out five minutes later. When we looked back to see what the employees were doing, that’s when we saw them eating and talking behind the cash register. I guess they suddenly remembered my husband’s soup so one of the employees stopped eating, poured his soup in a bowl, and brought it to him. The food was mediocre. I would not eat here again, mostly for sanitation reasons.

We ordered a Matzah Ball soup, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on everything bagel, and pastrami sandwich.

I enjoyed the soup, it was ok. The bagel sandwich was decent and they both hit the spot if you live in the area. I would NEVER go out of my way for this though.

The Pastrami sandwich was bad. Was basically deli meat. Just bland.

You guys can do better!!!

We went to Mum Foods a few weeks back and that was incredible. Maybe the best Pastrami I have ever had. The soup was delicious too! Worth the trip!!!

Went here for lunch on a recommendation, and it did not disappoint taste wise. Great little shop and the service is great. They got hot and cold sandwiches, as well as bagels and cookies. Got the Hot House Reuben with no sides for under $20+tip. The hot corned beef sandwich was delicious. You get corned beef, sauerkraut and cheese on some sliced grilled bread, It didn't come with a lot of meat and maybe more sauerkraut. Maybe it's just me, but it kinda feels like shrinkfkation when I'm comparing my sandwich with other pictures in their reviews. It was also a hot mess, so be prepared to use a lot of napkins. It was a great Reuben sandwich, but I didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth. Tastes great, less filling. I would definitely come back again when I've got a craving, but it just would not be my first choice.

Stay Away!

This used to be my go-to deli for good Reubens. Not anymore! I went to their website to review the menu before I arrived so I wouldn't hold up the order line. I decided to get two different half sandwiches for $8,50 each. After paying I sat down with my friends and looked at the receipt. They had charged me $14 per half sandwich. I went back to the register and explained their mistake and was told they had recently raised their prices. I asked to speak to the manager but Blair was not there to hear my complaint.

To make matters worse, they no longer shave the pastrami and corned beef. They now use two thick slices of lunch meat on each sandwich! And the bread was very dry!

Stay Away!

Chairs already flipped and signs turned off a full hour before close. Minimal effort at making the interior nice and it feels like just another business in a strip mall. Reuben sandwich had a generous amount of filling but it was nothing special, especially considering the price.

Didn’t get to try the bagels. Hope they’re better. Staff seemed friendly but inexperienced.

This place has lost their damn mind on Doordash, charging $6 for a can of diet coke.
