The food was amazing. The bartender fabulous. Definitely try the oyster dressed. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the conversation and the very knowledgeable staff. Fried green tomatoes each had a full shrimp and sauce was perfect. Definitely save room for the cheesecake.

I had the opportunity to dine at Bill's Oyster Bar recently during my trip to Austin and it blew me away. Yes, it is an oyster bar, but let me tell you, their burger is the best burger I have ever had and I would order it every time. Great cocktails, great food, and great people!

I have had lunch twice at Bill’s Oysters and extremely enjoyed it. We had The Colorado and server explained the rack in detail. Chef Joshua also came out and spoke with my guest and was extremely welcoming to my guests. Awesome place and I will continue to take more family and friends to enjoy their outstanding service and fresh seafood.

I have dined with Bill's Oysters twice, and both experiences have been amazing. Not only was the ambiance superb, but the staff was inviting and attentive each time. The clams Michelada stole the show for me, but I do have Latin roots so I may be biased. Their Valentine's special was amazing, and everything my taste buds could wish for, as well. All around a great place to go if living or visiting Austin.

Amazing atmosphere with friendly host and servers! The food is fantastic - best burger in town and I highly recommend trying the clams michelada and the steak tartare - full of flavor!The MKT fish was so delicious on a bed of grits!We couldn’t leave without dessert and their stuffed drenched toast is what dreams are made of.I can’t forget the signature drink - Freddie King was amazing or a good glass of wine!Overall, great experience and would 10/10 come back again!Dietary restrictions: The server diligently asked if we had any dietary restrictions or allergies, I really appreciated that!
The mere atmosphere and quality of food is spectacular not to mention the host and servers were so kind and hospitable. The quality was genuinely some of the best seafood I’ve had in all of Texas. The placement is astounding too, being downtown it can be a very convenient spot to be at.

Such an amazing place!! The food was phenomenal but the overwhelming quality of service jumped out at every opportunity. Such an amazing staff (Julien is fabulous). Such a cool aesthetic. Will be back asap!

BEWARE THE LOBSTER ROLL!!$38, skimped on lobster, and served on a literal hot dog bun.Only leaving this review to warn others and prevent them from making the same mistake as me.
Their burger and fries shocked us -- agreed it was the BEST BURGER we've had in Austin in a very long time.Bartender was absolutely swamped that evening (SXSW) and was crushing it with a smile. The Perfect Negroni was expertly crafted and served beautifully. Thanks for an unexpected treat of an evening.We'll be back ?

Best burger I've ever had! We were seated quickly. Started off with half a dozen oysters... delicious, and the toro tar tar. Everything was excellent quality! Good service. Would return time and time again.

Food was good, came out quickly and portions were big. Service started out wonderful but went downhill when we were assigned a different waitress. Was just too much to ask to split the bill for a party of colleagues in town for a conference. Got an attitude about it. Eventually they did but split was still wrong but at that point just wanted to leave. They added the gratuity already so didn’t care about getting another tip. Won’t go back.
