The black sheep chili is consistently delicious, if over a Frito pie, hot dog, burger, or by itself. They have a couple parking spaces in front, more in back, and on nearby streets.

I have passed this place so many times and finally stopped by and wow! It did not disappoint! Atmosphere is off the chain good and Christian at the bar was absolutely magnificent ❤️. Try the grilled chicken salad with bacon and avocado! It's perfect.

I came in yesterday 9/17/24 with a couple of friends. We had ordered some drinks and one friend asked for fried pickles and a menu. We had Christy as our server. I had scanned the QR code and clicked the wrong button when looking at their menu. My friends and I were laughing about it when Christy came back to the table and I said yeah the QR thing isn’t working and I can’t figure it out to see the food. He gave me a dirty look and said don’t need a menu. And we said yeah. Well before he goes to get a menu he gets a complete attitude with me and starts asking if I’m okay. I’m like yeah, I’m just ditsy normally and me and my friends laugh. He gets more rude and asks again if I’m okay. So I get serious and I’m like yeah I’m good I just can’t figure out the mobile menu.
This waiter proceeds to tell me I’m rude and me and my friends are taken aback and confused. So I apologized to him as that was never my intention and he went and grabbed our menu and brought it back.
Kristy then proceeds to the counter and is talking crap to someone else and then promptly switches with another waiter. Which honestly we were thankful for and he was SOOO much better than the first.
One of my friends with me only was drinking water and eating fried pickles and Jalepenos. She had to throw up and some waitress was in the stall next to hers. The waitress comes out and asks if she’s okay and then leaves the restroom she absolutely did not wash her hands AT ALL! Like ick. We come out and she’s telling our waiter about my friend throwing up. It’s like tf? Clearly our waiter let it go she was only drinking water.
Well me and one friend leave due to other obligations and one stayed behind. Kristy proceeded to run their mouth about me being “rude” to other people in this establishment. My friend confronted Kristy telling them that I clearly wasn’t and maybe he was just having a bad day. The waiter that was helping the three of us after Kristy provided horrible service told my friend not to worry about Kristy that they get like that.
I’ve been to this establishment before and have never had such crappy service from the wait staff.
The food was great and the drinks were but the 2 wait staff that clearly had issues was absolutely despicable.

Great happy hour specials on drinks. Hard to come by these prices nowadays. However, no happy hour food prices. The look, feel, vibe of the place gives good dive bar feels. Great outdoor section if it's not hot as hell outside.
Food was not great, but all I had were appetizers to share. Got chips and queso and salsa, cheese curds, fried pickles, cheese fries. Cheese curds were barely anything so not worth the cost. Not enough chips served with the queso, which seems like it was from a can. Fried pickles were soggy. Seems like all good food reviews are about entrees generally. Would avoid the appetizers bc portions were minimal or mismatched.
Service was...weird. Started off good, but then got asked to close out tab at shift change during which time the waiter auto-selected a 22% tip for me as if I didn't see them do it. Then later realized by closing our tab, the new waiter left us mostly unattended bc most of us already paid out. I felt tricked and annoyed about these actions by the end.
Parking: Parking lot in the back. Plenty of spots during day, can get harder after 6 pm.

We walked in last night and I was immediately greeted by Sean throwing compliments to my jersey. Once we sat down it just so happened that he was our server as well. Sean was extremely friendly and helpful. Recommend great food, modifications to the food, and gave us great conversation. We started with cheese curds and Sean recommended throw some different spices on there. I got the chicken wings and they were huge. Perfect crisp to it. My girlfriend got a Chicago dog and that was tasty. We ordered a side of cheese fries and I was not expecting them to be that big of a portion. Overall great experience. Would definitely stop by again.

Came back after walking next door to shop at Cindy’s….. to order a pound of wings. We tried the hot chipotle which was our favorite and also the garlic buffalo. If you guys want good traditional bone in wings come here!!!! They also have a daily happy hour- large selection of beers- and a few good cocktails.
Food is good but this place is very hit or miss when it comes to actually receiving your order. I’ve never been to the physical location, but I place my orders through Uber eats or Postmates. Half the time I wait for my order only to find out it’s been canceled 30 minutes to an hour later. This has happened on numerous occasions and twice today. If they aren’t taking online orders they need to shut it down during those hours so people can’t place orders, otherwise customers will think their order is coming and spend their whole lunch break waiting for food that will never come. I followed up with a call to see what was going on with my order and they immediately hung up on me. My wife and I order from this place about once a week because we like their chicken wraps, but their service is terrible and misleading. Don’t hang up on customers before they can even finish their sentence. Literally all I said was “Hi is this Black Sheep lodge?” And then I was hung up on.
Over the last few months Black Sheep Lodge has randomly been canceling our orders. I’d say it has happened at least 10 times in that span. And our orders are always over $50. That’s at least $500 they’ve missed out on by randomly canceling our orders with no explanation. Not to mention all the time my family and I wasted waiting for our dinner/lunch. Please get it together and fix your ordering system so that people get the orders that they place. This is getting ridiculous.
