Disclaimer: I ordered on Uber Eats. Granted, this was the worst BBQ I have ever eaten. So much so, that I thought it was a joke and they were going to bring my real meal out of some magic curtain. Ordered a Rib Plate with a side of Mac and Street Corn. Only thing that was good was the mac, They gave me 6 PAPER thin ribs that were 75% fat, 25% meat(I have videos). The 25% of meat was so dry it was hard to motivate myself to chew through it. Ended up trashing it. I can make better ribs with a $7 pack of spare ribs from HEB in my oven at 300 for 3 hours. This meal was a disgrace to TX BBQ. Dry, almost as if they were smoked 5 days ago and thrown under a heat lamp for the next 4 days. Yes, I get it, I Uber Eats it. But regardless, wow it was awful. Will never even think to spend my money here again. The street corn was just raw corn swimming in a bath of vinegar, butter, and salt. Disgusting. I hate writing this review, as I never review stuff on google because its a waste of time. But my $30 that I will never get back, and the worst experience I have ever had with BBQ, justifies this. Stay away from this place. A quick google search will I've you 5-10 better places within a 10 mile radius.

We definitely need one of these places in Virginia! Absolutely amazed at the quality AND quantity of food this place has to offer. I'm rarely blown away but this place did just that.

I wasn't impressed with this place, but this location has brisket ice cream. The sausage was dry and didn't taste good, the brisket was ok, and the sides are super small for what you pay for. Get your food for some in and the sides are bigger. Found that to be quite annoying.

BBQ did not disappoint! Fatty brisket was melt in your mouth delicious. Ribs were fall off the bone and the sausage had just the right amount of kick. Sides were a nice complement - Mexican street corn, green beans and Cole slaw. Well done and thank you!

This is a frequent BBQ restaurant we go to when visiting Austin. This past Saturday September 27th, 2025 i was very disappointed with the brisket. I ordered the moist brisket. Upon eating it, I realized that the brisket had no flavor, it seemed luke warm in the center, and was difficult to chew, almost like a bad steak. This was disappointing because we don't frequently go to Austin like we use to. I hope this in not a common thing.

1st time there. It blew my expectations out of the water. The brisket was super flavorful and tender. The ribs we delicious as well as the sausage. Make sure to grab a mexican street corn to go with it.

The food was amazing in a very busy area in Austin. I especially liked their lean brisket with barbeque sauce. Staff was very friendly and I would definitely recommend anyone that's looking for some good food to come and try Black's BBQ.
