Long time shopper, first time reviewer! :) The team at Blue Suede Shoes makes shoe shopping such a fun experience and always goes above and beyond to ensure you find what you're looking for. I went in yesterday and the wonderful Megan helped me find wedding shoes that I am OBSESSED with that are adorable and also shockingly comfortable! I couldn't love this store more. Best local shoe store in Austin, for sure! Go support, have some wine, and leave with a quality pair of shoes and a smile on your face!

Not enough great things to say about this place! Obsessed with the owners & girls that work here. I stay laughing the entire time I’m here with my class of wine and caramel buttery popcorn talking to them. Their collection of shoes is out of this world, really. They have such an eye for fashion! The music here is throwbacks of the BEST girly hits that hit home from your high school days. Just stop by you won’t regret it!

They have great items for gifts and a lounge area you can reserve for free. The bar is a fun add and the snacks / small bites are great. Love coming here after a Pilates class next door!

Shoes. Wine. More shoes, more wine! I am obsessed with this place. All the shoe boxes are nicely displayed under the shoes so it makes for easy try-on without having to wait for an associate to bring you your size. The staff is friendly and kind, and the wine bar feels like a neighborhood gem! There is nothing better than women gathering, trying on shoes, sipping vino and laughing together. Have been several times and will go back for more!

This place is great, I can always find something I love in here. I recently got a bag here that I get asked about constantly and love my most recent sandal purchase, cant wait to wear them all summer! The owners and staff are amazing as well so when I have time I love to get a glass of wine and a cheese plate, great vibe in here. And I don't leave reviews often but thought this place deserved it.
Blue Suede is a beacon of happiness on South First street. Shoes and wine - who could want more?! In all seriousness, the shoe collection is on point- always unique and fresh. The wine selection is wonderful - no boxed wine or mass production - AND mimosas and frose! The store is owned by an amazing woman and features a beautifully curated art selection of women artists (including an amazing Ashley Longshore piece!). Bottom line - if you love shoes, wine, and supporting local, female owned businesses then this is your place! Even when I'm not shoe shopping, I regularly meet friends for a glass of wine here because the place is just that cool.

What a spot! I get to buy beautiful shoes and purses while sipping good wine in a fabulously decorated space?! It doesn't get better than that. Until you add the sweet employees, fun purses and great jewelry selections (oh and the perfect location to add a lunch/dinner date onto the shopping trip!).

Blue Suede is a stunningly beautiful space! So much so, that I’ve held 2 different events there! There was clearly a lot of thought put into the design and it shows! Oh, and they have a fabulous selection of shoes, bags, and jewelry (with an emphasis on local Austin companies). And if that wasn’t enough already, they have a great/well priced wine list, along w/cheese and charcuterie. I love meeting friends there for HH and often find something I can’t live without! My most recent purchase was an awesome pair of black boots w/gold chains that look much more expensive than they were! Go check it out if you haven’t been! It has become one of my favorite spots in Austin! ?
