I hope if east 6th street gets eaten by condo-building culture vultures this place gets a spot to exist. This is the best option for non-chain, authentic vibes in the area. Food so good after I could only make this face (see picture)
This was our first time at Buenos Aires Café, and it did NOT disappoint. We let our server know and she gave us some excellent recommendations. So, when I was having trouble deciding between the gnocchi and the Shepherd’s Pie, she explained the differences. She highlighted the gnocchi as being adventurously flavorful and the Shepherd’s Pie as being more of a “comfort food” type of vibe. I went with the gnocchi and it was very flavorful. This is hands down one of the best food spots I’ve been to in Austin. We had a server named John and he really made it an experience for my family and I to remember. Their food is unique, fresh, and authentic. Highly recommend!
