The duck confit with venison sausage was very tasty. The fish was very under seasoned and a bit overcooked too. And the service left a lot to be desired (took 5 minutes to get some salt, no spoon for the mignonette, and we had to ask for silverware for our dessert). The strawberry tart with thyme was very yummy though!
The small plates were excellent. The hostess was very overwhelmed when we got there, and had a difficult time seating us even though we had a reservation and there were many open tables! The main door was very noisy and squeeked and squawked every time someone went in and out the door. Because it was a nice evening outside this was very frequent! It didn't ruin our evening, but it was very noisy and distracting!
We celebrated 41 years of loving each other. The first expectations were we came to a student hangout. Upon getting waited on by a very nice person, we enjoyed the wine and food recommendation as given. They acknowledged the fact we were celebrating a special event and provided us with excellent appetizers and deserts. We definitely would not hesitate to return. The dress code seemed business casual and the attached store gave a very neighborhood feel.
