We’re at least once a week Cabo Bob’s people. We love it that much. When we order the fish (almost always) we get super excited when they say “it’ll be a few minutes, we have to make more fish.” Because you know it’ll be super hot and fresh! But we were super disappointed when this was the case today and our fish came out over cooked, dry, and much thinner than the usual product. It negatively impacted the flavor we know and love. We would still recommend anyone to eat at CB’s but the Shoal Creek location fell short today. Such a bummer.

Second visit was a charm. I tried to visit for a late afternoon meal on a Saturday and the line was almost out the door.I went back today, a Wednesday, at 11am. The line was long, but not as long as on Saturday, and it moved along pretty quick.I got a grilled chicken burrito on buttermilk flour. I added guacamole and sour cream and some other stuff. The total was $16.Plenty of seating. Napkins, utensils, and hot sauces were at a station. I wasn’t wowed by the limited flavors of sauces. I would have liked to have seen some options of Tapatio and Cholula. The burrito was pretty darn good. Nothing mind-blowing, but it was a solid, satisfying burrito.

Cabo Bob's is the preeminent Austin taco & burrito destination! I had the #6 Brisket Burrito on a fresh Ancho Chili tortilla, filled with delectable freshly cooked Baja beans, fresh guac, fresh veggies, and a healthy sumptuous portion of shredded brisket. Six napkins later, I was sitting back happy as a milk fed puppy.???

Surprised at how yummy the chicken burritos were! I'd go again!Got a reply from the owner which is fun, so I'll elaborate - you should definitely go here! Totally worth it. Friendly Service, as a newbie I felt a bit rushed so 4 stars, but that's a great review honest! And while I prefer takeout, I'm sure plenty of people would enjoy eating there! So if you're looking for a new place for a quick burrito, check them out and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised like I was :)

Best Mexican style food I've ever had in Texas up to this point, fairly priced too.

Rarely have I finished a Cabo Bob’s burrito in one sitting. I prefer to order online because their myriad topping options can get overwhelming to order in line. An easy in-line order that hits the spot is the #4 Fish burrito. The place is almost always busy, only because it deserves to be.

A burrito is a burrito, unless it's from Carbo Bob's.Make your own choices a suffer or delight in the results.I'll be coming back to perfect my burrito.

Chicken was a little dried out by 7-ish when I ordered. If pieces were chopped a bit larger, it might help. Food was otherwise quite good and chile con queso was good texture although lacking in chiles! Need to drizzle a little salsa into it. Tostaditas (chips) were a bit thicker and greasier than I like. The iced tea was quite good, as were the beans, but the best thing on this trip were the sautéed onions and other veggies. Featuring julienned squash, what a great addition to a burrito!Parking: A bit crowded at times but there was an event for a nearby high schoolWheelchair accessibility: Excellent
