Not bad for a hotel cafe, fair prices, good service and good coffee.
Great quick service and a delicious croissant! While the coffee isn’t the best I’ve ever had, the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax. Definitely worth a visit!
I walked to Cafe 605 on a chilly, windy day in Austin and it was amazing! I ordered a dirty chai and lox on ciabatta. Amazing!! Quick, friendly service!
We enjoy walking over here for coffee and pastries. The food and coffee is good and the people are nice.
We have noticed that no one cleans up the tables. So it’s hard to find a clean spot to sit. Other than the lack of clean tables, we love the way the place feels.
Beautiful and quiet cafe to go and chat with friends and have a really nice time
Nice cafe, they make a good coffee. Not the best in the world, but probably the best in the area. I had a flat white which was good, slightly over drawn, but still good (and better than most things in the area).
Temporarily closed!
Fresh made croissants daily.

Legend… wait for it … Dairy
Located in hotel van zandt near Rainey street. It has a modern Austin vibe with a small drink and food menu. They have gifts, souvenirs and food in the go. It’s a great place to hang out or have an informal meeting. They have valet or street parking. We ordered chai lattes and cold brew. It was decent/average. The baristas were friendly.

Cafe 605 is a great stop to get a drink and a snack. Hey serve both breakfast and lunch there. There is nice seating to take a nice quiet break from walking around from the busy Rainey Street.

Ordered a very overpriced take away latte ($6.50 plus tip), and it was garbage.. all I tasted was milk and barely coffee.. don't waste your hard earned money here folks.
The $5 cortado was exceptionally unremarkable and bitter, of course that will vary by barista. Ordered $15 chicken tenders, received 3 very small, ordinary tenders and a colossal amount of fries.Great, easy spot of hotel guests and local drunks. Not so great otherwise

Had a greasy burger and salty fries, pretty disgusting. Coffee was mediocre.

Good coffee and tasty breakfast tacos. But, you’ll have to deal with some snootiness, both on the part of the staff and patrons. To be expected I suppose given the café’s location in a snooty section of Austin.
