I am in Austin TX Airport..worst customer service. Touched my cinnamon roll because it didn't seem warm. I asked the clerk if she could warm it in their oven for a bit and was told no! Manager was called of whom sounded like she was just going through the motions. Customer service is trash

Staff here is always super friendly. Almost always have a table or bar seat if you’re looking to work out of the house.

Hey guys not sure what’s up lately. But we keep coming to get coffee beans from this location..it’s an issue they never have them. So we are going to stop getting beans from here. Contact us when you start selling them again regularly. We still come for morning espresso and it’s great.

Seriously, what is happening to this restaurant? this morning my lid smelled like roach spray. I’m halfway home and I just realized it and of course y’all don’t have a phone number for us to call to warn people so that it doesn’t impact other customers. I’ve been coming to Medici since you guys opened way back in 2008 2009 in Clarksville. I’m going to keep dating my reviews here since it doesn’t seem like anybody is paying attention since I’ve never received a reply.

Just moved to town and quickly learned this is the local mini-chain. It’s definitely a step up from Starbucks and a few other cafes I’ve tried. I was relieved to find decently strong coffee here after buying a series of weak coffees.

After visiting about a dozen coffee shops, though, I’d say this one falls somewhere in the middle for taste, complexity, and overall offerings. The breakfast tacos were okay but not memorable. I did stop by regularly while working nearby, and it’s a solid backup choice, but for truly great coffee (which I really want and expect when I'm now paying $8 each!), I’d head elsewhere.

Medici has been my go-to coffee shop since I moved to Austin—always reliable, always comforting. For some reason, I find myself drawn to the South Lamar location whenever I’m having a tough day and need a reset. I realized yesterday why that is: there's a barista there (I wish I remembered his name!) who has consistently been incredibly kind and welcoming. Every time I walk in, his genuine positivity lifts my spirits and somehow helps me reset. Yesterday, I was feeling especially scattered and unproductive, but after our brief interaction, I left feeling focused and got a ton of work done. Thank you for making such a difference—you truly turned my day around.

Barista was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to talk to. We talked about the strawberry rose latte tasting like the strawberry syrup at IHop. Cinnamon Americano was good. thanks!!

Coffee is really good! Sometimes a little inconsistent and a bit overpriced, but it’s a coffee shop so about what you expect.

God forbid a girl wants to order an iced tea. I felt scared to even order with the attitude the guy was giving me and the glares the other girl was giving me. Not welcoming at all. Very weird because there is one barista that works here that was SUPER sweet once. The other employees should perhaps take notes cause GEEZ. All I asked was if they had anything refreshing that's not coffee lol.

On another note the place is cool, baristas not so much. Nice music, wifi, and lots of tables/outlets.

Love the coffee and the staff is always great and friendly. Twice in the last two months I’ve been unable to buy decaf beans. Today they ran out of decaf when I came back for my second espresso of the day. I’m in here a lot as you can tell. :-)

I love this coffee shop! The barista was so friendly, and the croissant was flaky. The hot chocolate wasn't too sweet. The atmosphere was very relaxed as well.

Absolutely solid lattes; I stopped here twice while in town for business and it was some of the best espresso I had in Austin.

Was there at 7:10am on Sunday, Jan. 5. Doors were locked and no staff inside when they advertise on the door, website, and Google they're open 7am-7pm daily 🤔
